Vidya Jyoti UK Team
In the UK, Vidya Jyoti have partnered with two registered organisations working with the disabled, the Gateway and Community ConneX both based in West London.
The UK team is headed by Mrs Angela Bhardwaj with Dr Pamela Kaushal working closely with her.
Angela also conducts our twice-yearly gift hamper purchase and distribution, during Easter and Christmas for the Wycombe Women’s Refuge and Young Carers Bucks, both charitable organisations in Buckinghamshire, UK.Angela and Pamela also set up regular teacher training and Spoken English classes for our teachers in India. Vishal Bhardwaj who is our Treasurer together with his administrative team at UCH Logistics in India, help to audit our accounts.
Our team of dedicated Volunteers in the UK, help with our charity fundraising events and ensure that these events are memorable for all who attend. The UK Trustees and advisors meet regularly to discuss the progress of our projects and conduct regular online meetings with our teams in the states of Rajasthan and Bihar, in India.
We also produce a monthly newsletter from the UK, showcasing all the events and progress from our projects at home and abroad.
